streets currently covered in prayer
A simple, long-term commitment to pray for the streets where we live.
Week by week, we walk through our local area and pray for God's kingdom to come. This isn't a one-off event — it's a movement of persistent prayer, faithfully tending the ground until we see lasting fruit. Give us your postcode, then pick the streets near you that you want to adopt, so you can become a prayer ambassador for your area.

What does it mean to take part?
Taking part means becoming a prayer ambassador and making a consistent, long-term commitment to an adopted area:
- Adopt your local streets
- Prayer walk weekly
- Gather occasionally with others
- Share stories and feedback with The Big Pray team
- Support local outreach that happens in your area
Prayer ambassadors receive prayer guidance and ongoing support, and will be prayed for by The Big Pray team — including at our monthly prayer service and in our private Facebook group.
As we pray street by street, we're also preparing the ground for our 2033 vision — to plant churches and play our part in the evangelisation of our city region.

Enter your postcode, then pick as many streets near you as you'd like to adopt — straight off the map or the list below it. A street already being prayed for by someone else still shows up and can still be picked; adopting a street is never exclusive.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What am I committing to?
You're committing to adopt one or more local streets and prayer walk them regularly over the long term.
2. Why a prayer walk?
Prayer walking helps us step out into our local community. As we walk, we notice things, meet people, and it can shape how we pray. It's also good for our health — and unlike joining a gym, you'll actually stick with it!
3. What if I can't walk, can I still engage in 'The Big Pray'?
Absolutely! Whether it's because of your age or other personal circumstances, you can still adopt a street and pray from within your home.
4. How often should I prayer walk?
We're asking prayer ambassadors to walk and pray through their adopted area once a week, as a general rhythm. If you miss a week or two, that's okay — there's no guilt or pressure. Just pick it up again when you can.
5. Can I choose which streets I pray for?
Yes. You'll always be given your own street, and you can also choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 additional streets near your home.
6. Will I receive guidance and support?
Yes. You'll receive prayer guidance, ongoing support and prayer from The Big Pray team. You can also connect with others at the monthly prayer service and in the private Facebook group.
7. What if I can't make it every week?
Consistency is the goal, but we understand that some weeks may be difficult. Simply continue when you can and stay connected with the team.
